Problem Note 52717: All instances of SAS® LASR™ Analytic Server become inaccessible when you delete a connection to any instance of SAS® LASR™ Analytic Server
If you delete any SAS LASR Analytic Server connection in SAS® Management Console, all instances of SAS LASR Analytic Server fail to start or stop. In addition, you cannot access tables on any instance of SAS LASR Analytic Server that you have in your environment.
This problem occurs because the program that looks up the servers by name and port expects the connection object that is associated with each server instance. When the program encounters a server component without the expected connection object, because that object was been deleted, the program generates a null–pointer exception error. When this happens, the program does not process the rest of the list, so all of the instances of the server stop working.
Currently, there is no solution or workaround for this problem. To avoid the problem, do not delete any SAS LASR Analytic Server connections.
